Virtual Digitizing is our product to digitize templates and objects of any shape and size, just by using a digital picture. With an average accuracy of less than 1 mm for templates up to 3.5 meters, Virtual Digitizing is the unbeatable independent digitizing tool for industrial use.
Virtual Digitizing can be used directly in your plant to digitize templates as well as directly at the contruction area, so that creating templates is no longer needed.

Virtual Digitizing includes the following functions:
- Take pictures directly from Virtual Digitizing or load them via camera into the software
- Remove lens distortions
- Automatic reference point detection for reference size definition
- Filtering and sharpening picture to remove shadows for a more easy digitizing process
- Open/save reference point information
- Handle multiple digital cameras within one software license for one production site
- Digitize on multiple layers (e.g. layer 1 – outside shape contour; layer 2 – grinding layer; layer 3 – drilling layer; etc …)
- Use a spline tool to digitize the shape contour
- Draw arcs, circles with 3 points
- Use a magnetic lasso mask function for fully automated shape contour detection
- Define drill holes by either the centre and the diameter or by digitizing it with our 3-point-arc tool
- Add grinding additions for glass processing equipment, for stepped IG units as well as for calculations from viewing size back to real glass size if required
- Add trims for the cutting table depending on glass thickness
- Add help cuts for an easy and smooth breakout
- Open/save project files for full shape documentation and to receive project files from purchasing sites
- Automatic template thickness correction to increase precession significantly
- ZEI (LISEC format), DXF, BYSTRONIC, BOTTERO file creation
- Tangential smoothing for exported shape contours to guarantee a perfectly smooth and continuous cut or edge on cutting equipment
- SCAD – Basic CAD package for glass to add round corners, cut outs, holes, dimensioning tool, printing with final DXF file creation
